Balcanes
Landscape as a theme in pictorial representation was born in China around the 5th century, but its true rise and splendor came from the 19th and 20th centuries in the West, with the first romantic artists and the impressionist movement.
Returning to the landscape as an evocative space, the artist creates the Balkanes washbasin. This piece, decorated by hand using traditional ceramic painting techniques, but with new formulations, where the subtle highlights take center stage; It represents the elements of the landscape: sky blues, sandy ochers and soft earthy reliefs. The artist invites us to immerse our gaze and walk with our touch through the sky and the rock, contained in the porcelain.
Balcanes is a resistant washbasin, with a dreamy spirit and singular beauty, both visual and tactile.
