The toughest building materials has become the inspiration for Bathco. We polish them to get delicate hand-painted pieces and then, in an artistic way the paintbrushes of Bathco Atelier creators simulate earth, wood, corten steel, terrazzo and pigment.
We show you five new pieces that join the Atelier collection.
It is not immune to our actions, it is food and sustenance and all our legacy rests on it. Witness of humanity and scenario of history. It holds itself an absolute wealth that makes us proud and feeds our culture.
The veins make it genuine and the tone of each ring makes it unique. Two identical pieces of wood will not be found in nature and the same happens in Bathco Atelier. The brushstrokes allow the birth of something unique every time they touch the basin.
The specific chemical composition causes very special type of oxidation typical for this kind of steel. The artists of the Atelier imitate their roughness and tonalities that last as long as the original.
This washbasin is a recreation in grey and earth tones where the artist uses the ceramic decal technique to simulate the material. This method is useful to join, all the original material advantages, in one piece, where its lightness and resistance suppresses the need to burnish the surface.
PINTAS
The artist transforms the skin of the white porcelain into a surface rich in subtle shades. The small and random motes in earthy tones that make up this mottled, remind us of nature and the infinite spattered and stained patterns that can be seen in stones.
