Pintas

The artist hand transforms the skin of the white porcelain into a surface rich in subtle shades. The small and random motes in earthy tones that make up this mottled, remind us of nature and the infinite spattered and stained patterns that can be seen in stones, birds plumages or animal skins.

The marbled porcelain requires in its creation a neat and meticulous treatment based on thin layers of complex enamels that mutate into an ethereal envelope. The delicate process of this piece is opposed to its result: an extremely solid and resistant washbasin.
