The creation of porcelain tableware inspired by flowers and vegetables dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries in Europe, and especially in England.

Its colorful background of blue and ocher tones, hand-painted with the hand-sponging technique with ceramic pigments, suggests an aged but lively appearance that adds depth to the piece.
