A walk through a forest
It seems like a dream to be able to walk through a bamboo forest in the heart of Madrid, but this year at Casa Decor, a natural space has been created where bamboo and water invite you to disconnect.
“Bosque Kalasin” is Bathco’s proposal for Casa Decor 2025, conceived by Andreina Raventós. This space distances visitors from reality, immersing them in an immersive bamboo forest.
Bamboo and water
This forest takes two fundamental elements as its reference: bamboo and water. Andreina Raventós has created an immersive environment where the Kalasin bamboo pedestal washbasin by Bathco is the protagonist, transporting visitors to a sensorial fantasy where an imaginary forest
Bamboo is the central theme of the design. Sustainable by nature, bamboo is one of the planet’s most renewable resources, capable of growing without the need for replanting. These properties of bamboo are reflected in the design of the sink and the entire atmosphere of the space, creating a direct connection with nature.
A river that comes to life
One of the key elements of the design is the hand-painted mural by the artists at Bathco Atelier, which rises from the floor like a river, evoking the natural habitat of bamboo. As it ascends the wall, the design simulates the movement of water, transforming into marine forms, removing visitors from reality and immersing them in an immersive natural environment.
The protagonist of space
The space revolves around the Kalasin pedestal washbasin, named after the forest in which it is located. This sink is made of bamboo, a material that grows at an astonishing speed and regenerates without the need for chemicals.
Bathco reaffirms its commitment to sustainability through bamboo, the star of the brand’s new products, presenting it as an ideal material for those seeking design and sustainability in every corner of their home.

The Kalasin pedestal washbasin is a piece inspired by nature, with a cylindrical design and striated texture, reminiscent of tree bark.

The Bathco space at Casa Decor 2025 can be visited from April 3rd to May 18th at Space 37 of Casa Decor (Sagasta 33, Madrid), where we also participated in the “Room 28” space.

MAUSHA MARSÁ SPACE
A Tineo washbasin from Bathco’s Traquita Collection is part of “Room 28,” a boutique hotel room created by Mausha Marsá. It is hand-painted by the Atelier’s artists using ceramic pigments that realistically reproduce the texture and nuances of trachyte stone.
