THE SEAFLOOR AS CANVAS
Bathco was present at Arte Santander 2016 through the works of Bathco Atelier. We were in charge of setting up and designing the VIP area
of the exhibition that served as a meeting and meeting point for gallery owners, artists and visitors. The protagonist of this space designed by
Bathco was a large ceramic mural developed by the artist Emeric Minaya.
Atelier´s interpretation
The foam splashing the waves. The movement of water. The fauna found at the bottom of the sea. The intense blue. Emeric Minaya’s points of
inspiration are many to make this mural that he joined a fair located next to the Sardinero beaches of Santander. The improvised
brushstroke meets ceramic figures that come out of the mold carved by hand by the artists of our workshop.
