A VILLAGE THAT EXUNS CREATIVITY
The Chill Out area of stand N3 P2 B41 is a meeting place between the Cantabrian Company and its clients who, after a long relationship, have become faithful friends. It is
here where the novelties that are presented for the bathroom sector are shown, the new options offered by materials and the most creative ways of creating new spaces. It is a
place where you can also enjoy Cantabrian cuisine because Bathco is very aware of its roots and wants to show them to the whole world.
Atelier´s interpretation
The artists wanted to capture a landscape with a message in this mural. For this they chose a postcard of Cadaqués, the easternmost town
on the Iberian Peninsula that has always lived facing the Mediterranean Sea. This fishing village has been and is the host of
great artists such as Marchel Duchamp, Salvador Dalí, Federico García Lorca and Pablo Picasso.
Pieces
María Centeno and Emeric Minaya raised ten square meters of tiles as a canvas to create a mural that would dress the seafood restaurant at the Cevisama stand. Grilled fish and shellfish would be the protagonists of the table so the landscape should be marine,
alluding to the salty sea that leaves us with top quality products.
To this must be added the artistic atmosphere that surrounds the workshop and that is why Cadaqués was chosen as a town that can be considered the cradle of
modern art given the category of its visitors. The blue brushstrokes were the culprits of creating an unprecedented image that teleported visitors to an idyllic place and made them escape the bustle of a trade fair.
